The Junior Company has been created to provide greater performance opportunities for students in the School of the Grand Rapids Ballet. The Junior Company will enjoy the thrill of performing in their own productions and alongside our Company dancers. 

In the 2011 - 2012 season, Junior Company members will have the chance to perform in:

The Nutcracker (DeVos Hall with GR Ballet and GR Symphony)

Orange Bowl Halftime show (Miami)

Snow White (Peter Martin Wege Theatre)

Carnival of the Animals (Kalamazoo with Kalamazoo Symphony)

Hansel & Gretel (Peter Martin Wege Theatre)

Festival of the Arts (Downtown Grand Rapids)

Auditions for the Junior Company are held each fall. Students must be between the ages of 10 and 19 and be enrolled in the School of the Grand Rapids Ballet.

Auditions for the 2011 – 2012 Season:

Tuesday, August 30 at the Grand Rapids Ballet

5:30 – 6:30 pm: ages 10 – 13

6:30 – 7:30 pm: ages 14 - 19
