Interests

I played clarinet from age 7-18, and performed with the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony.

During the summer, my wife and I choreograph and help run Children’s Opera Workshop.

My brother David is also a dancer, who formerly danced with Grand Rapids Ballet, who dances for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and recently won the Princess Grace Award.

I have toured around the USA and through Europe with different choirs. I was also one of the first Americans to perform in Westminster Cathedral in England.
