Jack began with the Grand Rapids Ballet School at age 10 and attended numerous GRBS Summer Intensives. He was a member of the GRBS Jr./Sr. Trainee Programs and the Jr. Company, performing many roles in productions choreographed by Attila Mosolygo, and as a guest artist in several local-area children’s ballet productions. As a scholarship student, Jack attended two summer courses at Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle and a summer intensive at Ballet West Academy in Salt Lake City. Before joining Grand Rapids Ballet, he was awarded numerous scholarships for dance and academics from several of the leading ballet university programs in the country. In addition to Patricia Barker, Michael Auer, and the GRBS faculty, Jack has had the privilege of training under Peter Boal, Le Yin, Jeffrey Stanton, Jeff Rogers, Calvin Kitten, and Peter Stark.

Interests

In my free time, I like to jam out on my guitar to almost any genre of music.

I am picking up my violin again after a long hiatus.

I have a continued interest in aviation, having been a member of the inaugural graduating class of West Michigan Aviation Academy.
