GRAND RAPIDS BALLET | 2024-25 SEASON

Grand Rapids Ballet is thrilled to present our highly anticipated 2024-25 season. This unique lineup features a blend of inspirational concepts, cutting-edge contemporary works, and euphoric story ballets, programming for everyone to enjoy.

The 2024-25 season kicks off in October with Symphony of Movement, a thrilling first-ever collaboration with the Grand Rapids Symphony on our Peter Martin Wege Theatre stage. In December, we ignite the holiday spirit with the 10th anniversary celebration of our beloved production, The Nutcracker. We soar to new heights in February with the enchanting Peter Pan at DeVos Performance Hall. Spring brings the return of the audience-favorite Jumpstart, where our dancers choreograph world-premiere works on their peers. We wrap up this exhilarating season with a time-travel to the 1960s in San Fransisco with Be Here Now at Peter Martin Wege Theatre.

GRAND RAPIDS BALLET SCHOOL 2024 SUMMER DANCE CAMPS

Grand Rapids Ballet School is bringing back our popular Summer Dance Camps, made especially for young dancers. Our ballet camps are a fun way for your child to stay active, meet new friends, and learn the fundamentals of ballet during summer break.

For children ages 3-6, our 75-minute ballet camp will teach your little one the fundamentals of etiquette, coordination, and musicality in an interactive environment where they will learn the beginning elements of creative movement. Students also set a goal to achieve by the end of the week and have the discipline to achieve it.

For children ages 6.5-10, our two-hour ballet camp provides the exciting creative spark they need to fuel their passion for dance. The curriculum builds a strong dance foundation focused on correct posture, placement, discipline, coordination, strength, flexibility, and the basic vocabulary of ballet.

Grand Rapids Ballet School’s 2024 Summer Camps end with an in-studio showcase at the Meijer-Royce Center For Dance so parents can watch their little one’s hard work pay off. 2024 Summer Dance Camps are not only an excellent way for children to get their energy out – but it’s also a great workout for both their mind AND their body!
